a few yrs ago, that time of day & the miles would have been ok. Now, nope.
Interesting - when I'm the one scheduling, I think I almost always give a few options. I like it when others do that for me, & when a group is planning something, that seems to work best. My financial advisor always gives me a few days/w/ time options...
cold calling: my experience, having nothing to do w/ scheduling, but back in the day when I owned a business & had to do some, I read to put a smile on your face & it can "come thru" when you're talking w/ someone on the phone...
Too bad that 60 yr old didn't do some further searches rather than depend entirely on AI...
and thanks for the Space.com link - hadn't seen that before. Good one!
Tell him coincidently you too happen to run the same path but much earlier at 6:00, buuuut you’ll meet him at 6:30 when “you are done”.
Meanwhile arrive little earlier, jog in place and drench yourself in a bottle of water for the full out-of-breath, sweating effects prior to the meet up. ;)
I might not love the idea in advance of our meet up, since I prefer evening workouts; however, I have never looked back and regretted the occasional AM workout/run.
I don’t believe I’ve ever wanted to meet anyone enough to go on a four mile run. I did use to get up and play a friend in racket ball at 0530 but he was senior to me, so…I also never won then since my body wasn’t going to be awake for a bit. I could beat him if we played at noon though. My time.
OBTW, real estate investment companies are one of the reasons the housing market has gone nuts.
Glad I visited the Smithsonian while it was still worth a visit.
Enjoy yourself. How about we meet for coffee or a light bite after at your convenience.
1. Putin & Herr Drumph have been told by the other party involved, who so far hasn’t yet been included, to pound sand. Same for the EU. Canada is building up its military no doubt getting ready to mix it up with Vladdy if necessary.
The abomination on the grounds of the People’s House is nothing short of asinine, gauche and so like the person who likes pissing on everything we used to be able to enjoy. The last I heard was that the first daughter is going to be involved in putting this garish show no doubt for all the sycophants he can squeeze for even more money.
Having been to almost all the Smithsonian complex but the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, it’s reprehensible that 47 wants to whitewash our histories that are represented by these beautiful museums. Neither he nor anyone in his orbit of know-nothings absolutely have no business mucking around in them.
Now I’m reading this afternoon where he expects to ask his rubber stamps in congress to extend his DC occupation beyond his allowed 30 days; you know, for all the crime that isn’t happening.
What do you want to bet that Georgia resident whose home got invaded by that historic meteor, had to change their underwear when that hot rock landed. Dear lord, what a surprise!
Thanks for saying what needed to be said! MMA at the White House? Does Kid Rock get his portrait hung next?
Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.
"4 miles I can't physically do but up to 2 miles is fine for me, if that works for you?"

You run. I meet you at 0700 with an iced coffee.
I might not like it - but yes we are going to do it.
Sounds good. Is the roite wheel chair frendly?
I will do the four miles, but I get to set the pace...
I will drive the pace car

Perfect!
I hope you can keep up

Dang! A fifth of the respondents run marathons? That’s a larger number than I would’ve thought.
Of course, my view of running is that you should have left earlier, so…
My response: “Yes; let’s do it now.”
Run all you want but leave me out! Now if you are talking about a 25-30 mile bike ride I will meet you with bells on.
Enjoy yourself. How about we meet for coffee or a light bite after at your convenience.

I would walk 4 miles without a problem with a few sprints maybe, but I typically don’t run, unless a bear is chasing me😅
