Profound wisdom shared in simple antidotes that a father knew his son would understand, and hopefully make an impact on his son. Really cool story. You must love the amazing stories you hear from your Life project.
Great article today. Star Trek aside, I don’t think many, many humans are capable of really seeing others different from them as being equals. We still have racism, discrimination, slaves, human trafficking, anti Semitism and countries where women are treated worse than dogs. Did we really learn and remember the lessons of WWII and the Holocaust? Doesn’t seem like it. People like to stay with their own tribes. As much as people say they treat all people as equals, there is still that human nature that prefer their own kind. Still wars going on over dirt, over different religions, different skin colours, different political views. I still hope that somehow sanity will prevail but I doubt it will in my lifetime.
I once did a lot of business in Ponca City Oklahoma, which was Conoco’s world headquarters ….this was in the late 1990s and the Holiday Inn in town ( which was in reality the only hotel) had a sign that proudly said “ Telephone Service- 24 hours a day”. This must have been a very interesting town for a Holocaust survivor to relocate to!
What a good story today Bill. Would that more parents do the same things with their children now. Just as you’ve got to be taught to hate and fear, you have to be taught to see the truth for what it is.
Excellent!
Great story today ! ♥️
Thank you.
A great story to start the week!
Bill - I would "buy (you) a coffee" if it weren't for what your country's government is doing to my country.
Respectively
A Canadian reader.
