What was the deleted comment?

Wow they deleted it! It was a spammy message from a user named something like “e human” and with a link to a different substack (which I didn’t click).Basic post said something like ‘I really like your newsletter, I’m just starting this new substack analysing human emotions with (something else I can’t remember) and would love your feedback as I get started. Let me know what you think’. So I did. It was all very anonymous and sounded just like a machine. Be careful out there.

Talk things over with your significant other. LOL, my poor wife, cooped up with me now and hearing EVERYTHING going on in my head.

I need to know how your wife copes with this. My partner does the same thing. OY!!! I wish I had a way to turn off the incessant commentary. Please, Please ask her to share how she copes!

I remember this Bill. My husband was dealing with a cancer diagnosis and I was trying desperately not to bring Covid home with me or at least let it get past the mud room. It was a horrible time but we both tried to not panic. We got through it somehow by taking the recommended precautions while three of our neighbors relied on quinine, ivermectin and running around maskless. They didn’t make it through the storm. They were the Darwin Award winners of the neighborhood.

Thanks for this memory Sarah. You should know that your telling me about your husband was in a way one of the inspirations for me to start Life Story Magic. I wish I'd had it all set up in time to get his story the way we are doing now. All the best.

That would have been nice Bill. Funny thing, Milam always kept notes in what we would have called a day runner I suppose. I just happened to run across the replaceable calendar for 2001, the year we traveled around the country seeing so many things, meeting a lot of different people and playing a lot of golf along the way. We had left Henderson County in our Dodge Grand Caravan on Wednesday March 28th heading for Montgomery, AL where we planned to stay with family for a couple days. Our odometer read 16,150 miles. Weather had other plans however(rain)and by the 31st, we were in San Antonio.

Enjoy your down time with hour family and keep notes which you no doubt already do. You never know what 25 years will do to you.

I actually miss Covid-19. I could mouth "you (insert expletive)" under my mask whenever somebody ticked me off in a grocery store. 🙂
