“Tariffs Raised Consumers’ Prices, but the Refunds Go Only to Businesses”
“Many families felt the sting of the president’s now-illegal tariffs, but companies have said little about whether they will share the $166 billion coming back to them.”
— NYT
Sad…and now everything touched by oil is going up. SMH
In a rambling group chat that was filmed and transcribed by the New York Times this week, Piker repeatedly made it clear that he is disdainful toward the fundamental rules that keep our society together. Inter alia, Piker defended the murder of the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, whom he deemed to have been guilty of “a tremendous amount of social murder”; suggested that he would happily “steal a car” if he “could get away with it”; and laid out a complex framework for when it is acceptable to shoplift (when the victim is “big corporations”) and when it is not (when the victim is “taxpayer-funded” with “union labor” and “adjusted prices”). Also “okay,” per Piker, is “I.P. theft, stealing movies, things like that.”
He doesn't strike me as one who will ever kill a single Jew; too cowardly. He'll steal grapes from the Jew's grocery store, and think it makes him a rebel, but in reality he's all hat and no cattle.
my opinion; NYT has some seriously twisted employees, just say'n.
On top of the Alpine Divorce we also have the Rape Club that was brought to light by CNN a few days ago. In case you missed this lovely story, apparently there is online access for men to find out how to drug and then rape their wives or girlfriends. It’s widespread and available to anyone who does a search. To make matters even more interesting, there is a website in Brazil that instructs guys on how to attack, beat and subdue a woman who wants to try to get away. Who is raising these dangerous, feral males? Don’t say animals. While we are ourselves members of the animal kingdom, most of those we consider “lower” wouldn’t put up with such behavior and would either kick them out of the herd or kill them outright. And men wonder why women would choose the bear or live by ourselves.
As for the other stories about the soulless rich, it would please me greatly if they would all self destruct in one giant explosion of greed.
“Trump Seeks to Abolish Iran’s Atomic Stockpile, a Problem He Helped Create
President Trump withdrew from the Obama-era nuclear accord in 2018, saying it was the worst deal ever. But Iran responded with an enrichment spree that haunts the negotiations to this day.
Now, Mr. Trump’s negotiators are dealing with the consequences of that decision, which he made over the objections of many of his national security advisers at the time.”
I realize that beggars can't be choosers but just wanted to let you know that the 'free' links in the last couple of Free for ALL Friday posts have not worked.
I'm pretty careful. but the sites control their own free links so I guess it's possible sometimes that by the time I get to send this out, they might have disabled free links.
I don't see how gutting the IRS is pro-taxpayer. Gutting Congress would be since they make the laws that take our funds, the IRS just collects the taxes and when gutted the cheaters get away, or pardoned by the idiot in charge

Y’all have a great weekend now; ya hear?
It’s almost as if the current administration is trying to dismantle the government, just as they outlined in Project 2025.

The Trump Ballroom article (The Washington Post)
The IRS article (Wall Street Journal)
The Jeff Bezos article (The Atlantic)
Are the links only good for that day? Do they expire?
