not a fan of chain restaurants. Where I lived before there was a Rainforest, & it was awful. During a time of working, co-workers would like to go to Red Lobster, which was pretty good, they didn't mind making substitutions. When I moved to where I am now, the one here wasn't good at all. When kids were young, Cracker Barrel was a favorite, & it was always dependable for driving trips, as was Waffle House when in the south. I liked Outback, but haven't been in a long time. A friend I go to lunch w/ likes Chili's & Applebee's 'cause she always has coupons. I wouldn't choose to go, otherwise.
Basically, tho, when I go out to eat, I like locally owned places. If they're chains at all, they're local chains.
Make no mistake: everything trump does is transactional - everything. Musk got what he really wanted which is the inside intelligence on all the federal contracts and pending RFPs so he can game the system. Plus, he tilted a few Starlink contracts his way as well.
Musk is right about the “Big Beautiful Bill.” 816 pages that apparently no one in congress actually read until later. There are some scary things built in regarding executive powers, first amendment, education, science, etc. I’m just hoping the spat forces full disclosure of the Epstein files!!! Wouldn’t that be a treat?
I guess I was a type C long before it was a thing. No micromanaging; too much trouble. Not too laid back; no running amok and boys had set early bedtimes that adjusted as they got older. But I’m a Boomer with two great sons.

Off topic - Musk is now in the same status as others - Trump used him now he "throws away" - no surprise here.
