I have another solution to saving your kids' art projects without making it a permanent fixture on your body. I made Shutterfly books for each year of each kid's art and then threw the actual art away at some point. Now my kinds will have books of their creatives to show their own kids.
I’m here visiting with my sons and their families. All six of my grandkids. One son and his wife put together one of those books of family photos each year and send to us. And I just shared your idea with all of them and they think it’s a wonderful idea! Thank you!
Found out that Jaws actually had a very low budget. They spent a lot of that on the robot shark and it died rather quickly into filming. Not very many scenes with the shark. And so that’s why the.”Da,duh” became so very effective. It played as the camera spanned over the water…. Etc
eta: many years ago I was responsible for hiring Pee Wee sister’s wife as our association’s secretary (they have since divorced). She wasn’t a DEI hire - she was exceptionally good!
I saw Jaws in the local theatre when it first came out. Don’t remember anything except laughing until I was in tears every time my friend screamed. Which was a lot. She has the best screams.
The unsubscribe article was kind of interesting. I don’t recall seeing an unsubscribe option in the middle of an email.
Not a fan of tattoos, but what is your kid going to think when they are 14 or 15 and you have this bad drawing of a unicorn on your arm for everyone to see? Kids art is meant to be disposable and recyclable, that is why there is so much of it.
One son has a few tattoos & after today’s discussion about this topic, he said he & his daughter, age 12 who has some artistic ability, have discussed her designing one for him… wait & see…
