I read the entire article about Musk - hmmm, not that I'd ever be "selected" but I wouldn't want to be in that harem...
I'd love for some form of life to be found elsewhere in my lifetime...
once again, posting about my connection to an agency that provides full-ride scholarships to students for 4 yr & vocational schools - that story about the bot 'students' is AWFUL!!!!!
and the "Verbal Flubs" - GREAT!!!!! Loved it, loved that Mike O’Brien kept his records!! FUN!
The dairy robots! I’m so jealous. I want a dishwashing robot, laundry robot, chef robot, dusting robot, bathroom cleaning robot. OMG. I keep waiting for the Roomba to procreate but silly me, apparently I need to get some cows. Hmmm. 😂
I’m in a book club & we pick a month to host. I’m a sci-fi lover plus think Asimov is one of the best! I chose for my month ‘I, Robot’ a series of short stories (not the movie!) as a good one for those not familiar with scifi - we had a great discussion
I love that book! I love everything by Asimov, he was one of my heroes growing up 🥰. Robert Heinlein has my heart too. Have Spacesuit, Will Travel was the first science fiction book I ever read. I think I was about 7 or 8 (I learned to read very young, and discovered all the best books were on the parents’ shelves lol).
OMG - I was a bit older but my older brother introduced me to Heinlein ‘Stranger In a Strange Land’ when I was in middle school - fell in love, as you say, from there on!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the biking article. I don't have time right everything now but will hold on this email to go back and read about the robots, musk and the ford exec.
My units biked from Medicine Hat, Alberta to the BC Okanogan back in the 40’s before the highway was paved. I rode my old 10-speed from Jasper to Banff in four days, the from Banff to Calgary, Alberta in a day. BEST VACATION EVER!
Living in the Greater Toronto Area brings a whole new generation of Canadians to our linguistic melting pot every time we run a census. This means that *someones’s* grandparents have inevitably compared “apples and rocks” or didn’t want to be caught in a joke because they were “pulling off my leg.”
The pain point comes when I hear Crown Attorneys unable to SAY 12,436 (twelve thousand, four hundred… etc.) But that’s a whole other bag of elephants.

That’s a good one too. How about the dragon rider books by Anne McCaffrey?
Read all of those, too 😀👍
Hooray for loving to read! 🎊🥳🤩 and good books! 📚
With all the daunting news, these articles are my escape. They educate, enlighten , and give real news . Try it !
The piece on the Ford exec who tracked verbal flubs is the greatest thing since sliced donuts!
good one!!

Long live free for all!
Thanks Bill - as usual.
This is chock-full of goodies today and will enjoy each one since none of them involves 47.
Many thanks Bill.

Love using verbal flubs, myself…
