Regarding American Camouflage: The amount of teeth-gnashing over camo patterns was always amusing to me. It was like being in a military edition of The Devil Wears Prada. When the original battle dress uniform camo pattern came out, we had leaders who ordered us to starch them and sew all the pockets shut. Destroyed the camo properties and any utility the thing had.
Every once in a while I remember this very quick vignette—being in a JAG office at Fort Drum, and a civilian worker turned a corner and bumped into one of our soldiers.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there," she said.
"Of course you didn't," he replied. "I'm wearing camouflage!"
I C E is the logical agency to eliminate the U S citizen drug kingpin without reprisal. A monetary reward could serve as motivation. Just don’t call it “bounty.”
If the majority Leader won't issue such a statement, I wish EVERY airline would follow DELTA AIRLINE's lead!!!:
Delta issued a clear statement saying it would temporarily suspend all specialty services for members of Congress, citing the impact of the prolonged government shutdown on staffing and operations. These specialty services traditionally included:
Bypassing TSA security lines
Receiving airport escorts
Access to a dedicated congressional service desk
Delta emphasized that, given the current environment, it must prioritize its employees and general customers, making it difficult to continue offering VIP treatment to lawmakers
Here's an on-going post from Ray's comment about what he reads... which we share some of, that is 'Nice News' & he reads part of 1440; I read most of 1440. In today's 1440, was Humankindness, which is similar to Nice News:
Today, we're sharing a story from reader Sara B. in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who works for a nonprofit performing arts presenter.
"Last month, we hosted a School Day Performance with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis at Hill Auditorium (on the University of Michigan campus) for about 2,200 kids in grades K-12. At the end of the performance, students were invited to ask questions of the group, and a first grader from Ypsilanti, Michigan, asked the band, 'Can we play music with you?' The trombonist of the group said, 'Well, there's no time like the present. Do you know any songs?'
"What followed was the girl singing 'Baby Shark' and the band improvising behind her, with the entire audience cheering her on."
Trump’s signature on currency? Disgraceful!
I’ve already been reading that people plan to write things after his signature such as:
- is a pedo
- is a rapist
- is a con man
- is a grifter
And so on and so forth. Funny if you ask me!

I still laugh at that.
