Hi, Bill. The walking and brain maintenance thing has been established through other areas. Take a look at John Medina's work from the university of Washington in Seattle ,Brain Rules. And other such useful information from his work, the neuroscience is quite fascinating

Dang Bill, did I read that right? 6-7 times around half mile path in 20 minutes? No wonder you’re losing weight!

“A 7 minute mile is an 8.5 mph pace — faster than 85% of recreational runners.”

Ha no way — I was walking, more like 20 minutes per lap!

I have come up with some of my best thinking while walking, so I can believe the results of the research.

I have a feeling FIFA is not going to be nearly as successful as anticipated. Between Trump, ticket prices and the current economy, soccer has become a luxury and no longer every man’s game.

Between the famine in Sudan and the Ebola outbreak, life is pretty grim for some areas in Africa. And yet we hear little about either issue.

And we won’t mention how players, coaches and refs are being treated at our borders. Players have been detained for hours, body searched, had phones searched while a world renowned referee was sent back to his country because-reasons. Compared to the welcomes there getting in Mexico and Canada, we are being really shitty.

I get my best thinking done on a cycle ride. It is my “moving meditation.”

Cool if it works. Just in case, I sat here in my recliner reading this while doing a bit of active breathing. I learned it when I was taking my Kundilini yoga classes. Now I’ve got to get up and walk to the kitchen to check on my lunch and get ready to feed my dog PNut before she starts reminding me that it’s time.
