So I read something yesterday that suggest that all of the backlash against AI data centers was started by China. They don't want the US or any western country passing them in the Ai race, so they drop some fodder for the always malcontent and watch the country eat itself. I know very little about what the data centers will do to the environment, I'm learning more everyday; but sometimes we have to check the source before we jump on the bandwagon.
