I'm not much of a sports fan/follower, but your lead stories are great!!
however, the story about kids using AI for emotional advice — and sometimes, because they have no one else: 'I don't have anyone else to talk to' is very, very sad/disturbing. I just had a discussion w/ my dental hygienist yesterday about her teenage daughter having problems w/ her so-called 'girlfriends' bullying her/being catty, about her height/too tall. We talked about the fact that when I was a kid I told my parents just about everything. I won't go into details but it was great how my relationship was w/ my folks, & I believe the same w/ my sons & myself... guess parents & kids are possibly on their phones too much these days???

“If you can't live your dream, at least you can keep dreaming”! Love your favorite rule! What a great lead story. Scott Foster is so unassuming. He seems like a perfectly happy guy; no regrets. He put himself in the right place and at the right time, lo and behold, his dream happened.
I guess Grok passed the audition with flying colors to earn a $200 MM payday.
Our attorney general and top staff don’t need ethical oversight? Of course not. How would they manage the Epstein debacle? “Ethics, ethics? We don’t need no stinkin’ ethnics.”

Loved your EBUG story today Bill. Good things sometimes do happen to good people who wait and are available.
As for GROK, it would do all a service by committing the AI version of offing itself as soon as possible.
If you really want to have some thoughts of the future, how about this:

Loved the article!!
Somehow I thought you might. It’s almost enough to give you really gray hair.
Too late…😏
