Trump seems to require an outcome in Iran that will allow him to credibly claim success. Is that even possible given Iran's strong resistance to Trump's demands?

David Ignatius:

My thought on this very difficult question: To resume as a global leader that can achieve a favorable outcome on Iran, Trump must recover badly damaged trust and credibility. His profanity-laden gangster talk has really begun to grate with global leaders. The way to restore credibility is to act responsibly and patiently to reopen the Strait of Hormuz through a combination of diplomacy and military power. "Bombing Iran back into the stone age," among things, would guarantee that the strait will remain an unstable choke point indefniitely. In general, Trump need to act like a mature and responsible president.

No way is Iran going to let Mr Bluff and Bluster off the hook. If they possibly can, they will gut him(and the US)like a fish and serve him up to the world on the biggest platter they can find. Somewhere in his lizard brain he knows that so is doing everything possible to crawl back under his rock and change the subject. Don’t know if you’re familiar with this woman but today she’s pretty good.

President Trump also asserted that God supports the American war against Iran “because God is good, and God wants to see people taken care of.”

As a retired Rad Tech, I found the AI radiology invasion to be a horrible prospect for prospective patients. It’s not as likely to be an issue in general diagnostic radiography(plain films)done either in the ER or the department and read locally. A fracture is a fracture or not, with other clinical signs and dealt with then and there. The problem will arise in the big scans; CT,MRI, PET scans and mammograms which are digitized and oftentimes read remotely so certainly can be digitally manipulated by say insurance companies that, of course, don’t want to pay for costly treatments. That is at least one entity that would have a vested interest in introducing AI into the field. Scary thought.

I guess we’ll be seeing tonight but she makes some excellent points in her rather salty Southern manner. She’s Mobile based.
