A nice story that highlights how our strongest memories are sometimes totally incorrect but filled with the outcome we find most pleasing.

that's true about how our memories can fool us!! I've experienced this w/ my brother - we both remember the same situation differently. Same thing w/ a son about something when he was younger. It could be amusing/funny/?scary? to test out various memories, hmmm...

Great story Bill! Truly one of the best!

Grand Canyon?! Go to the north rim if you have the time. It’s completely different and higher at 9000 feet. Helicopter ride is great too! Be careful though. Both helicopters and bees are not aerodynamically able to fly and you wouldn’t sit on a bee so maybe not sit in a helo either.

Can you imagine...an invitation to the hilarious banter of Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks, and Sid Caesar? Priceless!!

I had beef stroganoff for my birthday along with angel food cake every year per my request. I didn’t know this episode but it certainly makes me smile. It can be something so simple that impacts another human being. We are the holders of joy not yet attained if only we look out for the opportunities. Thanks for sharing Matt and Bill!

Great story Bill as well as remembering all those old farts who made you roar with them at their jokes. What memories. Your human interest stories are the best.

Enjoy Arizona and all its beauty. Check out the mules while you’re there then sign up for a mule ride into the Canyon with your family 👍🏻. If you get the chance too, get up for the Canyon sunrise. You won’t be sorry. Have fun, take notes and tell us all about it later.
