Great story. Stone soup in action. And out of that boy’s loss of his Pokémon collection emerges a young man whose life, transformed by the kindness of strangers, is already a model of paying it forward.
Cool story. I think there are a lot of great stories out in the world just waiting to be found under all the dirty laundry that is the news these days. And it’s sad too because by not hearing the good stuff, we can forget our humanity all too easily.
While there is a lot wrong with social media, I ran across a You Tube video about a blind man with his seeing eye dog being harassed by some crazy woman who was on board with her “service dog” that was not behaving so she was losing he mind all over the poor guy. In steps a young woman who with no hesitation at all said she would be honored to sit with him on their flight. Turns out, she is Jen Henderson, a labor and delivery nurse and a beautiful soul all in one body. She has a huge following on TicTok, You Tube and probably others simply because she will go to bat for her patients and anyone else in the world who may need a hero. These are the people we could call our angels who just appear when most needed. We don’t see their wings but they’re there nonetheless.
Awful story about Chavez. It’s looking more and more like we’re going to have to teach our very young children self defense and make sure they have our permission to use it when needed. What is it with these creeps? Same goes for abusive women too.
Cesar Chavez, a Civil Rights Icon, Is Accused of Abusing Girls for Years:??? Why is this being investgated now- Is it true we will never Know - and another hero bits the dust...when we so badly Need Heros now -
We have always been surrounded by idiots, and now we know who they are. https://timothywiney.substack.com/p/a-call-to-arms

Thanks, Bill, for this story. I intend to read it at our all company training session next month.
Love this.

More good stories please.
