Let’s talk traffic. I think the 80/20 Pareto principle applies when it comes to how people feel about this: 80 percent of Americans seem to think that wherever they live must rank in the top 20 percent for worst traffic, craziest drivers, and all-around vehicular drama.

At least, the topic has been known to spark a conversation or two, which is why I thought today would be a good day to share a recent study ranking all 50 states according to which are the best and worst to drive in.

It’s put out by WalletHub, which does a lot of these rankings, primarily because they want people to link to them. (Here’s me upholding my end of the bargain: LINK.)

Still, I couldn’t help it; I found myself clicking through to find out how the state I grew up in (Rhode Island, #49) ranked, along with my current home state (New Jersey, #38), and every other state I’ve lived in (Examples: California, #47; Massachusetts, #37, Connecticut, #39).
