I was 10 in 1963 riding my bicycle home from a Cub Scout meeting when I was struck from behind by a car...my head met the car's bumper. I was unconscious for 26 hours and in intensive care for 6 days. I have no memory from the time I turned my bike onto the highway (a country road) to go home and just before I was wheeled out of intensive care. My odds of survival were grim for the first day. I have no memory of this but my Mom shared (later) that I kept speaking (while unconscious) "But I want to live in this world" repeatedly for a time. She thought I was on the edge of leaving. Interesting topic. I would like to read more comments about these types of experiences. I think most of us want to know about life after death.
