Unfortunately for beachgoers, they deliver very toxic stings, though there have been few known instances of human fatalities. They are typically found in open-ocean ecosystems, in areas of the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic Oceans, as well as the Baltic and North Seas. I have always heard that the early bird gets the worm, so… As a manager that hired many people I can tell you I was always interested in finding the best candidate, the fastest. It was good to read that ICE plans to do a better job of vetting, which reminded me of what I read about the elimination yesterday of TPS (temporary protected status). 300,000 Haitians and 4,000 Syrians are involved, some of which have been here since 2010. Here is the thing that caught my attention:
Nearly 200,000 Haitians and 2,000 Syrians with TPS are part of the workforce, with the two groups contributing roughly $5.9B to the US economy.”
The more I read about what people have to go through to get and then maintain a job makes me glad I’m retired and out of that rat race. I don’t think I would have survived too long going through what I’ve seen my children and grandchildren go through.
Regarding the elimination of TPS by the regime for all those people who are contributing so much to our once recovering economy makes me
ask myself why would any sane government want to do such a thing as that. But then I remind myself that we are no longer dealing with sane people trying to run a thriving economy.
To those who complained about Life Stories plugs, do what I do. If there's something I don't want to read, I scroll on by. That's what adults do. Quit being a snowflake.

Ok, but how do you know when it’s the beginning of their job search? You may happen to come across a posting. Maybe you need to apply BEFORE they start posting jobs online. Pick a company you like, pick a job you might enjoy, adjust your resume. Call the HR manager and request a consultation. Let the manager find you a job within the company. Oh, and update that friendly individual periodically on your status and any new activities or links to work or accolades online. Promotional cards with photos work too, especially if they’re eye-catching enough to find a space on the office bulletin board. You may be what he or she sees first when glancing up from the computer, thinking, now who can I get for this position? And there you are!
After I worked at a company for about a year, one hiring manager told me that I had sent her so many emails(not requests but fun updates) that she thought she knew me!
