My cell phone always runs out of battery when I need it most

Other than the obvious Death and Taxes, I would say that fostering an attitude of gratitude will make you a happier person.

I remember hearing as a child that you're never going to make everyone happy so even in a less decisive world, it's probably unrealistic to think of things we can get 99% of people to agree on.

We are scared

Some will agree to that while others will turn it (fear) into anger.

Can we agree to label these mass murders “Madness”? If we can, we should tell our elected officials to “Stop The Madness”.

We can tell them whatever we want, but more love needs to be brought into the people. We all need to connect more, connect with god, the universe...ourselves

god, whatever you conceive him to be

All things! Gods everywhere

I am agnostic. I have a difficult enough time trying not to anthropomorphize my dog. I don’t need to start on the ineffable.

I'll take a stab at it. The one thing we can agree on is that we were all born.

I agree with you, but there are 250 bodies of people in Arizona who bet upwards of $20,000 each that it is not.

Waking up each day is a good thing. Despite its faults and ours, America is still the place where most people want to live that day.

Being not an American, I would have to disagree with that statement. The people I know and work with have no desire to live in a country where the right to bear arms is.more important than human life. Sad state for a country to be in

Not so fast. I really, really, really had to leave rural Japan kicking and screaming to come back to the US.

If you don't like the state the country is in, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We let it get this way. It is fixable, but when the shared pain it's going to take to get the job done is mentioned, most people shrink from the task. But bitch the loudest. Strange.

i agree with you, this is my country, i love my country, i will continue to work and help my country

Great thought. I'd like to think you found something.

"That we are a divided nation" "That our system is, at least in part, very broken"

jt's avatar

we are a divided nation, my understanding is that approx. 50% of the voting population votes, and of those approx 50% are on one side and 50 on the other.....??

Karen Chin's avatar

The 1 thing everyone can agree on is that change is constant

Brad White's avatar

Nope. Close, but some will say that it is accelerating.

That….I would be very upset if if happened to MY child, spouse, close friend, etc.

(I wish we would all agree that all children (spouses, close friends) are ours and our responsibility.)

i agree,,,,also, we are all someone's child
