Who says it's worth $1Trillion? The same people that can't balance a budget (like the rest of us have to!)? What if the global economy says it's NOT worth $1Trillion? Then what? We still default, the coin isn't worth stealing and the movie becomes a "B movie" on MeTV like "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!
Then we have to look at the whole conception of money and perhaps accept bitcoin as a reality. It's worth $1 trillion because someone we ostensibly trust says it is. Money's awful tricky like that!
(this might be why my mother is a big believer in having both silver jewellery and an awful lot of tinned food around; one or the other will be tradeable in the apocalypse!)
I would definitely watch this! Then again, if some producer decided to film this as a it could quickly lose its appeal. Don't get me wrong, I love a good documentary. However, in a world turned upside down in a good movie create a sense of normalcy. In this
post (?) Pandemic world a good movie might very well be the equivalent to the orchestra playing, as the Titanic sunk.
On that note, I've seen a couple movies produced by an LA based independent production company. Mister Lister Films march to their own beat. @misterlisterfilms
I'm not saying they're the best things I've ever seen but they are definitely not the worst. They just tend to capture the world in a different light. I have listed a couple of their movies for reference.
Very entertaining. I like the female president detail. But when filming you should have Janet Yellen (the first female treasury secretary) do one of those funny cameos. Just sayin'
