getting outside. I think the word go maybe was supposed to be in place of get? Anyway, thank you for the incredible work you do for all of us parents along with all the people like me that probably drive you nuts. Ha
I like the piece you wrote but I wish the image of “successful kids” at the top showed some diversity... first impression without reading the article is “oh, you have to be white in order to be successful”... also would be interesting to know the socio-economic status of the parents with preschoolers who made $12K more... was it just praises at preschool that made the difference? Also there might be/likely is a bias from teachers themselves in praising kids who are whiter/more economically advantaged vs kids who are of color /might not have the same economic advantages. Just saying... I think it’s important to address some of these issues transparently instead of tip towing around it by saying “some parents might not agree...”
