Almost everyone knows someone that they care about who could use that phone call to help them know that they are remembered. Sometimes I think we hesitate because we haven't talked with them in a while so we feel guilty and aren't sure what to say. Call anyway. You don't need to explain why you haven't called or defend yourself. Just start with, "I've been thinking about you and wanted to call to say hi." You'll both feel better for it. ❤️

I think a lonely person has the personal responsibility to fix that state. No one else can fix the situation, go and meet people for you. Get out, get involved. Join a group, volunteer, go to church, take a class. I live alone but seldomly feel lonely. When I start feeling like tht, I reach out to friends or go walk and interact with strangers.

How can someone who is around for another few years make decisions to change the design of naval carriers? To “make it look more pleasing?” Politicians should stay in their own lane. We had a similar thing here in BC in the 90’s. Needed new ferries, the politicians of the time got involved and we ended up with three vessels that did not work on the routes and then could not be sold
