Great story Bill. The good thing about being old enough to be your mom and having been a subscriber for a number of years now, reruns are reappreciated with very little effort on my part.
So wonderful for two guys who really deserved it, and so glad that Facebook had to pay them. Even if it makes me a tad nervous that Meta owns it for a few reasons. It does mean I can speak to friends across the pond!
A classic American story ( immigrant and all) I hope we can retain it. Fingers 🤞 crossed.
Enjoy your recess.
*Brian (not Jim). My apologies for using the wrong first name in my earlier comment.
Very inspiring story. I like to say rejection is God’s protection. Always keep plugging along.
But the most beautiful thing about Brian is the good grace and optimism with which he handled his rejection?--?
I know, wrong newsletter, but what better word to use? OPTIMISM 😊
