well, even those of us w/out what Musk has should have some estate planning. In fact, my husband now & I married a few years after I was 65 & we had a prenup so our kids from previous marriages would know there wouldn't be any confusion at the time of either of our deaths. And yes, I clicked on the dishwasher link, & hey, we have no disagreements about loading/unloading 👍

LOVED the link about Grace Carr. I've known some nurses who also worked the night shift in order to make it work w/ raising a family. And of course, the fact that she continues as a volunteer is not only amazing but marvelous for her & for those she meets & greets w/ her smile!!!

This is a fabulous piece. Have you read Thinkjng Fast and Slow? I think Musk is someone who can think slow very fast - but in reality operates a lot of the time just thinking fast. Effectively emotional all-about-me responses. Would be happy to discuss if that concept makes any sense/is of interest to you.

interesting book - I just read the summary & some reviews. I've always thought my intuition was "pretty good"... I'm retired so not in need of the slowing down part I guess? My background is in psychology & sociology so it's appealing.

I would love to know the number of comments you receive because you stated that the image was real regarding the crowd at the rally.

Here’s one: I agree that the image was real.

“ Three reporters from The New York Times who attended the Michigan rally confirmed that the crowd numbered in the thousands, contrary to Mr. Trump’s assertion that “there was nobody there.” A Times analysis of photos and videos of the event also showed that Mr. Trump’s claims about the size of the crowd were unfounded. Other images and videos from multiple vantage points showed a large audience.”

It's funny, I used to get a lot of replies if I posted anything political. But I think this is so clearly just not an AI photo, there are full videos of the event and thousands of individual people posting their own photos who were there. Anyway I have your reply here and I think one other. That's it!

I’ve always found that loading the dishwasher from the front to be the most effective.

There’s a difference between a rally and an airport.

The rally was moved into a hangar because of the number of people who showed up to see her I believe. Besides the reporters to whom Darrell referred there were others who used their cameras and who also confirmed. Trump has a severe problem with telling the truth. At this point I’m not even sure he knows what it is, if indeed he ever knew.

Hahaha - I’m not voting for either party but don’t you know the correct term these days is “misspoke” no lies, oh, no, politicians don’t lie

As for loading the dishwasher, I just follow my husband’s lead. 😅

Elon Musk's lack of succession plan is not surprising. Keep in mind, Musk operates on the chaos theory. He likely revels at the thought of the chaos that will ensue after his death. Either that, or he honestly believes he will never die so does not need a succession plan.

Is he planning to be “frozen “?

Since you replied as you did, I shall refrain from saying basically the same thing. I will add one thing though. Regarding what was written about ugly people, Musk and his felonious friend had better get busy if they can think beyond their noses, that is. They may not be much longer for this world(🤞🏻). Yes, I’m bad.

The concept of the LinkedIn profile algorithms to predict individual traits has some potentially big data flaws. I don't like writing about myself. Many of my coworkers feel the same. It always feels awkward. Instead, we (or HR) write profiles about an employee other than themselves. The individual then reviews the draft for accuracy and posts. I am wondering if the researchers stopped to consider that the data being analyzed could be flawed - or maybe their own egos never considered that someone besides the individual would author the LinkedIn profile.

Great reply!

I don’t understand why HR would invest their time to write a profile for individual employees. Your own LI profile is a personal branding tool. It typically mirrors your resume.

Other employees - or people in general - can author recommendations using that feature. It is quite useful since the writer is offering their thoughts voluntarily and it is clear those thoughts support their colleague/friend.
