I have Wordle on my phone but don't play it much. Have you ever tried Lumosity? It's not a word game (well, some of it is). It's a lot of fun. I was suffering from horrible migraines and started playing the games on Lumosity. Strangely enough, the migraines stopped. Connection? Who knows.
Enjoy solving Wordle and sharing my results in a family group text (little competition), in a friend group text (fun competition) and in messenger with my 10 year old grandson (fun lessons). Wordle appeals to all age groups and all types of people. Something to help bring us together. A win-win for everyone, including the creator.
Huge Wordle fan. Play it every morning and share the results in a family text. I admittedly have missed one (I’m 206/207) due to the one time I did the puzzle pre-caffeine. It’s a great game to play across generations. Just competitive enough to keep it interesting every day. I like to change my start word every day. My daughter (11) likes to start with “ocean”. There are definitely cheat words (like adieu). I just follow the old Wheel of Fortune strategy after my initial guess (which is the first random 5 letter word I think of during my first cup of coffee each morning).
Every morning, I crack open my ipad and start with The Spelling Bee, I am not satisfied until I reach Genius. Then I move on to the small daily crossword and on to Tiles which is great for spatial brain work. And then I conclude my daily brain work with Wordle , I start with a 3 vowel lettered word and sometimes I fail, oye the pain of losing. But the next morning I start again, and maybe I will get a good score on all 4 of my games.
My wife, 2 grown daughters, and I compete daily with a point value assigned for how soon u solve. At the end of each month I total and give a prize to the winner. Amazed at the family “togetherness “ it helps generate.
Turn on Hard Mode and you can’t cheat with multiple unrelated words as you suggest as your strategy by using two word that has the most common letters and every vowel. There’s no star after your picture, so you can tell. Lol
My wife and I play together but separately trying to see who gets it in the least amount of guesses. Well until we have been through five guesses, then we tag team because who wants to lose at Wordle?! :-)
Nice!
I like to see the patterns in my Wordle, for example https://twitter.com/vingar/status/1559364028702400512?s=20&t=P77QnMEr3MQhYVtBIxEMZA or https://twitter.com/vingar/status/1560077624746991616?s=20&t=P77QnMEr3MQhYVtBIxEMZA
I shared my approach to solving Wordle in a recent post: https://www.vinishgarg.com/my-wordle-practices/

I always start Wordle with "trail" and then follow up with "cones". I solve mostly in 4, solve in 3 more often than 5, and have blown it 3 times.
I've been playing since Jan 5th. Does that make me cool? Not New Zealand cool, obviously, but...
😎

Yes every day.
My 2 starter words are: route and daisy
Sometimes raise and pouty
Sometimes saute and doily
What are yours?

Wordle can also be played more than once per day. I follow DailyWordle on TikTok. She’s also on Instagram.
I am a hit and miss player. I have the icon but just forget it's there most of the time
Would rather play solitaire
Big Wordle fan here, and playing a group competition like some of the others. Wrote about it here: https://tompendergast.substack.com/p/when-wordle-became-bordle-we-turned?r=ofba&s=w&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
I play Wordle every day. My first word is usually irate. What are your wordle words?
