Thanks for the tips! Will try to remember them if I remember to play Wordle. I enjoyed it for a few months but have lost interest. Hope your vacation is wonderful

We have a very similar strategy. My first word is often Aeros, to knock out vowels like you said, followed by pouty (if there's an O but in the wrong place) for the P, T, and Y. Similarly, I then try to knock out any ck or ch words, then brief (if there's an E but in the wrong place) for the F and B. Generally, by 3 turns I've solved it, or will on the 4th because of the above strategy.

P. S. Last I read, SLANT was the best word to start with

Audio and Perky are my two words as well. I’ve tried others, but those two are the ones I’ve stuck with.

I also have Waffle in my list of daily games. A nice alternative.
