What an amazing post presidency he had. He has earned the right to rest in peace. He worked hard for it.
President Carter was far, far from the worst President we’ve had. As most Democratic presidents have had to contend with, it was left to him to clean up the mess left behind the Nixon/Ford debacle.
In case you’ve forgotten you might want to brush up on the what and wherefore of his administration.
“… the perception of his leadership did not correspond with the reality of his performance.” He might have been the best of the worst but certainly no where near the worst. We are getting that one back for one more term.
